The global business industry is developing and countries are increasingly more adept in expanding their markets to service the ever-growing needs of the global consumers. Competition is rapid and economy is evolving, these are only few of the factors which drive globalization. Globalization indeed creates opportunities but it also poses challenges in the face of progress.

Opportunities and Challenges
Globalization has immensely changed the methods of business. It tremendously improved political and diplomatic relationships between countries, dismantling customs issues and global trade barriers across the globe. This has opened a universal communication and resulted to some settlements on the Global Agreement on Tariffs and Trade.

Globalization also includes the integration of businesses to the World Wide Web. Through the World Wide Web, organizations are able to communicate with other organizations in real time, whenever and wherever in the world, making businesses more efficient and cost-effective. Logistics specialists have extended networks internationally with paper work and transactions definitively simplified and streamlined.

However, despite all these, challenges also exist to go along the stream of opportunities. Globalization has paved way to a more competitive global economy. Competition is tough with new corporations turning up in the international market day by day.  Markets are expanding, products are multiplying, pressure on product value due to rough competition, economic downturn, market deviations and so on. All these demand optimization in product quality, business model, service suite, organizational platform and the powerhouse of the company. Staying ahead of the curve requires a powerhouse of highly skillful and professional people. Therefore, adaptability, creativity and discipline are the keys.
